In order to register for the symposium or to submit an abstract you will need an account at the Converia online system. If this is your first time on this website, please create a new account. Otherwise please login to your existing account from the last symposium. In case you forgot your username, please contact the conference secretary (fish@fu-confirm.de)
The deadline for registration is 21 September 2018. Registration is open now. The registration fee will include hotel accommodation for 2 nights (28-30 November 2018), coffee breaks, conference material (abstract book), lunches and a social dinner and event for the evening of 29 November 2018. The anticipated price is between 325 € and 400 €, depending on the chosen hotel (including the hotel for two nights!).
The conference hotel is either the Hôtel du Parc at Aulnay-du-Bois (within walking distance from the conference venue) or the Mercure Hotel Le Bourget in Le Blanc Mesnil (please click for more information). Please be aware that the conference fee has to be paid latest by 21 September 2018, otherwise the registration and the hotel booking will be cancelled!
During registration procedure, several payment modes are offered. If you select "bank transfer" as payment method, you can pay now or later. If you select "credit card" as payment method, you have to enter your card data immediately. Later payment by credit card is not possible and the registration process cannot be finalised without giving the credit card data.
Please note that the number of participants is limited (about 120). The first 80 registrations will be filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Subsequent registrations will be filled on a reserve list and you will be informed in September if your registration was accepted.
Presentations by registered participants are welcome (platform presentations, short spotlight presentations and posters). Oral presentations can be made during the platform presentations and breakout sessions (no limit on the number of presentations in the breakout sessions but short interactive formats are preferred). Abstracts can be submitted as part of the registration process (follow the link "submit a paper"). You can also register and submit your abstract later (until the deadline given above). We offer platform presentations (1st day), short spotlight presentations (2nd day) and posters.
Abstracts need to be submitted until 21 September 2018. Please make sure that you also registered yourself for the conference (submitting an abstract and conference registration are two different things) and have paid until this date.
