General Information

In order to register for the conference or to submit an abstract you will need an account at the Converia online system. If this is your first time on this website, please create a new account (click "Register now" on the left side). Otherwise please login to your existing account from the last conference or workshop.

During registration procedure, several payment modes are offered. If you select "credit card" as payment method, you have to enter your card data immediately. Later payment by credit card is not possible and the registration process cannot be finalized without giving the credit card data. If you select "bank transfer" as payment method, you can pay now or later.

Registration fee

Registraion is open until 5th November!

  • € 260 early bird registration (until 31st August and for students/ post docs)
  • € 310 from 1st September
  • € 500 for industry

Conference Dinner on 4th December is included.

Cancellation fee

  • Till 4th November 2018 we will charge an administration fee of € 20 for cancellation.
  • From 5th November 2018 there will be no refund.

 Abstract Submission

Please submit your abstract (click on "Submit contribution" in the left box).
The dead-line for abstract submission is 30th September 2018.

Guidlines for abstracts:

  • All abstracts must be in English, max. 250 words
  • Please do not use abbreviations or references
  • Abstracts should be as informative as possible and structured sensibly (e.g. background and aims; methods; results; conclusions
  • Images and tables are not permitted in the abstract
  • Please use the provided template
  • Abstract title (150 characters, space included)
  • List authors and affiliation
  • Contact details
